Do I need a referral to see a Registered Massage Therapist?
No, you do not need a referral to see a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia. You can book in for an appointment at any time. Some extended health insurance plans however may require a referral or doctor’s note for reimbursement, so it is best to check your specific policy.
Is there parking at your office?
There is parking beside the office along Esmond Ave. and for more options you can find more street parking on Albert St.
How should massage feel during and after a treatment?
During treatment, massage should feel comfortable and tolerable. You should be able to comfortably breathe without tensing or pushing out the pressure being applied. Some areas may feel more sensitive when working on tight or restricted muscles, and so it’s helpful to give feedback so that the pressure can be adjusted.
After treatment, many people feel looser, lighter, and/or more relaxed. Some may also feel mild soreness for 24–48 hours similar to how your body might feel after a workout.
Kind Words from Clients
“Had an amazing experience with Holly, a skilled registered massage therapist in Vancouver. She was friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re searching for the best massage therapist rmt experience in Vancouver, I highly recommend Holly!”
“After going to several places I met Holly and I can tell you she is certainly the best. Her skill in RMT massage is out of this world and has helped me many times from a sore shoulder or a badly pulled back relieved my pain and got me going again!”
“I have no hesitation recommending Holly. She’s an amazing RMT: professional, friendly and effective. I like very strong pressure, the kind at Asian acupressure chains, and Holly is able to match that to my liking. She takes the time to review my file and address any concerns before treatment. As a desk jockey with neck and upper & lower back aches, her treatment has absolutely helped.”
